God Did Not Bring You This Far To Leave You

Life can get very overwhelming at times. It’s filled with highs and lows, good and sometimes bad. Life does not discriminate, it happens to all of us, Christians alike.

God will not leave you or forsake you

The phrase “I will never leave you nor forsake you” offers hope to believers. It’s a biblical promise seen throughout the Bible that assures every believer that God will not forsake His people.

The fact that God brought you where you are must mean that you travelled from somewhere else. Maybe you were in a bad place or perhaps a comfortable place but there was no room for growth or something greater. In either scenario, he moved you, and brought you to where you are today. If this is so, you have to trust that God is in control, and is guiding you towards something that he deems is better for you.

Yes, there will be delays or detours at times. Sometimes it may even look like you have come to a dead end.

Rest assured though that when God moves you, he is moving you with a purpose. It is all a part of his master plan for your life.

He will open doors for you and others he will shut. You just have to trust him even when you don’t understand.

You have to trust that he is doing something in your life for the season that you’re in. As a believer, you will learn during your spiritual journey that sometimes, undesirable things will happen to clear pathways to something good.

Trying times will test your faith. During these times, is when you will have to lean even closer to your faith.

The Bible tells us in Deuteronomy 31:8, “It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

If God was not planning to do something greater in your life, he would not have moved you from where you were.

Takeaway

God works in his timing which means that you may have to linger for a while before he moves you again. Stay in faith believing that he will come through for you. He will show you the way. Keep praying and keep praising.

He did not bring you this far to leave you!
