Beetlejuice (1988 Film)

Beetlejuice is a 1998 American fantasy horror comedy film. Directed by Tim Burton, its cast includes Micheal Keaton as Betelgeuse, Alec Baldwin as Adam, Geena Davis as Barbara, Jeffery Jones as Charles, Catherine O’Hara as Delia, and Winona Ryder as Lydia. The plot revolves around a recently deceased couple (Adam and Barbara), who as ghosts haunt their former home and contracts Beetlejuice, an unpleasant bio-exorcist from the Netherworld to scare away the new family that moved in.

Edward Scissorhands (1990 Film)

Edward Scissorhands is a 1990 American fantasy gothic romance film directed by Tim Burton. It tells the story of an unfinished artificial humanoid who has scissor blades instead of hands. He is taken in by a suburban family after his creator (Vincent Price) dies and ends up falling in love with their teenage daughter. The cast is star studded and includes Johnny Depp as Edward Scissorhands, Winona Ryder as Kim, Dianne Wiest as Peg, Anthon Michael Hall as Jim, and Kathy Baker as Joyce.

The Addams Family (1991 Film)

The Addams Family is a 1991 American film about a bizarre family who tries to reconnect with a long lost relative after 25 years. Based on the characters created by Charles Addams in the 1964 cartoon, film stars include Anjelica Huston who plays Morticia Addams, Raul Julia as Gomez Addams and Christopher Lloyd as Uncle Fester. Other characters include Wednesday and Pugsley Addams, Lurch, and a detached hand known as ‘Thing’.  

Hocus Pocus (1993 Film)

Hocus Pocus is a 1993 American comedy film. It follows a trio of witches (Bette Midler as Winifred, Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah, and Kathy Najimy as Mary) who are unintentionally resurrected by a teenage boy in Salem Massachusetts on Halloween night.

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993 Film)

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a 1993 American animated musical dark fantasy film. It is also known as Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. It tells the story of Jack Skellington, the king of ‘Halloween Town’, who is bored with the usual Halloween activities. The King accidentally stumbles upon ‘Christmas Town’ and plots to take over Santa’s role.

The Haunted Mansion (2003 Film)

The Haunted Mansion is a 2003 American supernatural comedy film based on the Walt Disney theme park attraction. Realtor Jim Evers played by Eddie Murphy, becomes trapped with his family in a haunted mansion on a remote bayou in New Orleans.  They soon discover that the mansion is haunted, and while they attempt to escape, Jim learns that his wife Sara has an unexpected connection to the mansion’s haunted past.
