1. Free Birds (2013)
This animated film follows two turkeys (Reggie and Jake) who travel back in time to the first Thanksgiving (November 1621) to get turkeys off the menu.

3. The Blind Side (2009)
In this 2009 film, the story is told of young man who overcomes poverty with the help of Sean Tuohy (played by Tim McGraw) and Leigh Anne (played by Sandra Bullock). Leigh Anne extends an invitation to the homeless teen to spend the thanksgiving holiday with her family. The film is based on events of the life of former football offensive tackle, Michael Oher.
4. Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)
In this stop-motion animated film by American filmmaker Wes Anderson, Mr. Fox (voiced by George Clooney) outsmarts three farmers to steal their food.
5. Home for the Holidays (1995)
The film follows Claudia Larson (played by Holly Hunter), who leaves Chicago to spend Thanksgiving with her dysfunctional family.
6. The Santa Clause (1994)
The Santa Clause is a great movie to bring in the Christmas holiday season. When Scott Calvin (played by Tim Allen) accidentally startles Santa Clause and causes him to fall of the roof, he and his young son Charlie finish the present deliveries then go to the North Pole where Scott learns that he must become the new Santa.
